The AMT-1 is an accordion ribbon with a folded aluminium diaphragm, so that even slight movements result in a transmission ratio and the air moves significantly faster. This gives the transducer excellent impulse response and enormous dynamic reserves.
The transmission range extends from 500 Hz to 32,000 Hz (-6 dB) and should be used with a 12/octave crossover at 1,000 Hz or higher. The efficiency is 100 dB, the diaphragm area Sd is 180 cm2 and the impedance is 4 ohms.
Distortion K2 – K5 remains below 0.2 per cent at an average sound pressure level of 90 dB and remains below 1 per cent up to the maximum output level of 112 dB, which is excellent.
The dimensions are (H x W x D) 154 x 172 x 108 mm.
