Description
New improved version!
The original element has been improved by BPA and newly built to our specifications by Tang Band.
Excellent midrange with aluminum cone, solid aluminum phase-plug, generously ventilated spider, Long Hub rubber surround, light alloy die-cast basket, Kapton voice coil.
Pronounced linear frequency response up to about 6 kHz, practical TSP parameters for BR volume from 3.5 l net.
With appropriate equalization, the chassis can also be used as fullrange driver.
Kits with this are TBTL from HOBBY HiFi 4/06 and the kit Al-Mon.

Använt i en tvåvägskombination ett helt fantastiskt element. Imponerande i förhållande till dess små fysiska mått. På nersidan ligger att det har en elak resonans (konuppbrott?) kring 5-7kHz någonstans där elementet låter riktigt illa, bör därför delas någonstans kring 2,5-3kHz 12dB/okt. I en 4 liters basreflexlåda, avstämd till ca 60Hz glömmer man lätt att detta ljud kommer från en såpass liten högtalare!
